44th BCS application deadline extended till 2 March

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has extended the date of the application for the 44th BCS.

A PSC circular set 2 March as the last date of submission of application instead of 31 January.

The preliminary test will be held on 27 May.

Speaking to Prothom Alo, PSC chairman Md Sohorab Hossain said, "National University vice-chancellor made a request to extend the deadline through the University Grants Commission. We consider the opportunity of all. Those who appeared in the fourth exam under the National University will be able to apply for this BCS examination."

According to the circular of 44th BCS, as many as 1,710 class one cadre officials would be recruited through this BCS.
