45th BCS preliminary test unlikely on 10 March: PSC

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has said it is difficult to hold the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination on 10 March, a probable date for the exam.

The PSC will hold an emergency meeting in the first week of March and a decision about the exam may be fixed then.

PSC officials said they will hold a meeting in the first week of March and the date of preliminary exam will be fixed then. The candidates will have to wait more to know the date of exam, the officials added.

The officials said a total of 346,000 candidates have applied for the 45th BCS examination. As many as 2,309 cadre posts will be filled through this BCS while there are 1022 non-cadre posts.
