DU admission process begins 31 July

The online admission process for the first year honours admission tests for 2017-18 academic sessions of Dhaka University (DU) will begin on 31 July and continue till 26 August.

The honours first-year admission tests for the 2018-19 academic sessions of DU will begin on 14 September, said a DU press release Monday.

According to the schedule, the admission tests of ‘Ga (C) Unit on 14 September (Friday), ‘Kha (B) Unit (Friday)’ will be held on 21 September, ‘Ka (A) Unit’ on 28 September (Friday) and ‘Gha (D) Unit’ on 12 October (Friday).

The general knowledge part of admission test for Cha Unit (Faculty of Fine Arts) will be held on 15 September and the drawing part on 22 September, the release added.

The decisions were taken today at a meeting at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban with the DU vice-chancellor (VC) professor Md Akhtaruzzaman in the chair. 

DU pro-VC professor Nasreen Ahmad, pro-VC (administration) professor Muhammad Samad, treasurer professor Md Kamal Uddin and online admission committee convener Hasibur Rashid, among others, were present at the meeting.
