SSC results' pre-registration time extended

The authorities have extended the deadline for pre-registration to get the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations to 2:00pm Saturday.

The results of the public exam will be published on Sunday.

Senior system analyst of Dhaka Education Board Manjurul Kabir told Prothom Alo that over 1.1 million students pre-registered as of 1:58pm on Friday.

The deadline for registration was scheduled to end on Friday night but it has been extended for 14 more hours.

The authorities will automatically send results to the mobile numbers of those who pre-registered for the results.

The results will also be available on websites of education boards, too.

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina will announce the results through a videoconference from Ganobhaban at 10:00am on the day.

Education minister Dipu Moni will reveal the detail information about the results at 12:00pm though a Facebook live programme.

The authorities also asked the students not to go to their respective educational institutions to know the result due to the ongoing coronavirus situation.

How to pre-register?

To know the results through mobile phone, the students need to type SSC Board Name (First 3 letters), Roll Number, Year and send SMS to 16222 (e.g. SSC Dha 100001 2020).
