Prothom Alo journo critically injured in road accident

The daily Prothom Alo's chief photojournalist Zia Islam was critically injured as a car hit his motorbike on Monday night in the capital's Panthapath area.

A private car hit Zia's motorbike around 11:30pm while he was in front of Basundhara City shopping mall.

Zia received severe injuries in his head and legs.

He was admitted to the ICU of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Later, he was shifted to the Apollo Hospitals in Bashundhara residential area.
