Cold wave likely to abate

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in next 24 hours till 6:00pm Monday, reports UNB.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during mid-night to morning and it may continue at places during day time.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the regions of Tangail, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Satkhira, Jessore, and Kushtia, said Met office.

Current cold wave condition is likely to abate from some more places of the country, Met office added.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets in the capital tomorrow at 5:33pm and rises on Tuesday at 06:44am.

Country’s highest temperature 25.1 degree Celsius was recorded on Sunday in Sylhet and lowest 07.2 degree in Jessore.
