The Dhaka Tribune district coordinator AKM Faisal Rahman Kishore died of heart attack in Dhaka on Friday, reports UNB. He was 33.
Faisal complained of chest pain and collapsed on the ground at the residence of his friend Yasir Wardad Tanmoy, said Tanmoy.
He was taken to Ibn Sina Hospital at Dhanmondi around 1:15pm where physicians declared him dead around 1:30pm, he said.
Faisal left behind his parents, a brother and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Taltala Eidgah field in the city after Isha prayers.
Before joining the Dhaka Tribune, Faisal also worked for news agency United News of Bangladesh (UNB), The New Age and The Independent.
