Per capita income to reach $3,089 in next FY: Finance minister

Finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal Sunday expressed optimism of achieving targeted 7.2 per cent GDP growth in the current fiscal year (FY22).

The minister said this after a meeting of the cabinet committee on government purchase (CCGP), reports BSS.

He said "In the current financial year, the size of the economy will be US Dollar 455 billion. Per capital income will reach US Dollar 2,785 this year."

The minister also hoped that the per capita income will reach US Dollar 3,089 in the next fiscal year.
