The US Embassy in Dhaka has outlined the circumstances under which visas of foreign students studying in the United States may be revoked.
Student visas may be revoked if students drop out or skip classes.
The embassy shared a message on the matter in a post on its social media accounts today, Saturday (22 August 2026).
The post said "If you drop out, skip classes, or leave your program of study without informing your school, your student visa may be revoked, and you may lose eligibility for future U.S. visas. Always adhere to the terms of your visa and maintain your student status to avoid any issues."
