2 Bangladeshis arrested in India’s Andhra Pradesh
India’s Andhra Pradesh police have arrested two Bangladeshi nationals for allegedly supplying counterfeit American currency notes in the name of exchanging money, reports Outlook India.
The arrestees are Mathovar Thofik and Munshi Mohammad Islam Pinto, hailing from Madaripur district of Bangladesh, said the Indian media on Monday.
Quoting Andhra Pradesh’s district Kadapa sub-divisional police officer SK Masoom Basha, the Indian media said the accused also reportedly carried fake Aadhaar cards and passports.
“They came to Kadapa a few days ago and contacted some persons in need of dollars,” the SDPO was quoted to have told.
