Biman aircraft makes emergency landing

A Dhaka-bound flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from Singapore with 84 passengers on board made an emergency landing at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Monday evening following a technical glitch, reports UNB.

General manager (Public Relations) of the national flag carrier Shakil Meraj told UNB that Boeing 737 BG085 flight made the emergency landing around 5:50pm as one of its two engines developed a technical glitch.

The flight was scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 6:30pm, he said, adding that the passengers will be taken to Dhaka by another flight.
