Cadet College Club Literary Society launches poetry anthology

Cadet College Club Literary Society (CCCLS) organised a day-long literary event at the city's Cadet College Club Limited (CCCL) on Friday.

Noted writer professor Syed Manzoorul Islam was the main speaker of the programme titled 'Kotha Sahityaer Koto Kotha' (Let's Talk About Fiction).

Besides Manzoor, writers Mohit Kamal, Mashrur Arefin, Ekram Kabir and Jackie Kabir spoke on different aspects of fiction at the event.

At the end of the day, CCCLS's first publication 'Kobita Sankhya 2019' (Poetry Anthology) was launched. Professor Manzoor, CCCLS president Shakoor Majid, editor of the anthology poet Lutful Hossain, CCCL vice president Musleh Uz Zaman and general secretary Jasim Uddin unveiled the cover of the publication.

GTV editor-in-chief Syed Ishtiaque Reza and Samakal literary editor Mahbub Aziz were also present at the programme moderated by Fatema Doza.
