Ex-CUET student killed in road accident

A former student of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) was killed after a bus ran over him in New Monsurabad area of Chittagong on Friday night.

The deceased is Farhan Momen, 27, son of a certain Mahbubur Rahman, hailing from Lakshmipur and a 42nd batch (2011) student of Mechanical Engineering department at CUET.

Chittagong medical college police outpost nayek Amir Hossain said that the bus hit Farhan while he was crossing road in the area of Pahartoli police station around 10:30pm, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was taken to the hospital where physicians declared him dead on arrival.
