Farzana Mitu’s novels launched

Six novels of novelist Farzana Mitu were launched on Saturday, reports UNB news agency.
The novels were launched at a simple ceremony held at the conference room of Central Public Library in Dhaka, according to a press release.
Eminent child littérateur and former Director-General of Bangladesh Television (BTV) Ali Imam unveiled the books as chief guest while Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University vice chancellor Kamrul Hasan Khan and seasoned author and publisher Moinul Ahsan Saber as special guests.
The newly launched novels are---Tomate Koribo Bas, Pothe Jete Jodi Ashi Kachakachi, Bhalobese Rumal Dite Nei, Amar Odriste Tumi, Je Adhare Tumi Nei and Keteche Ekela Biroher Bela.
Famous publishing house of the country, Dibya Prakash, published the books on the eve of month-long Amar Ekushey Boi Mela 2016 begins on 1 February 2016.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Imam said, "It is good to see that young writers are coming up with their insightful thoughts about life, romance, alienation and ills of the society. I always encourage them and hope that Farzana Mitu will make a footprint in her area through her works."
The books will be available on the Dibya Prakash stall in Ekushey Book Fair.
