Govt reduces DAP fertiliser price

The government has reduced the price of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertiliser to Tk 16 per kg from Tk 25 for famers, reports UNB.

For dealers the price has been reduced to Tk 14 from Tk 23 per kg, said agriculture minister Mohammad Abdur Razzaque.

The minister came up with the information while talking at a press briefing at the secretariat on Wednesday.

The new price will be become effective very soon, UNB quoted him saying.
