Pilot Abid’s wife dies

Afsana Khanam, widow of US-Bangla Airlines’ pilot Abid Sultan, died at a hospital in Dhaka on Friday morning.

She died around 9:30am while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital.

Afsana suffered a brain complicacy following the news of death of her husband.

She was first admitted to a private clinic in Uttara area of the capital on Sunday and then transferred to the national neuroscience institute for better treatment where she succumbed to her illness.
