Just a few minutes before the president's arrival, prime minister Sheikh Hasina departed the hospital visiting Quader.

Later, talking to UNB, BSMMU director Abdullah Al Harun said as the prime called Quader by his name at the CCU, the Awami League general secretary slowly opened his eyes and looked up.

He said Quader also stared at president Abdul Hamid during his visit.

Physicians found three blockages in his coronary artery following an angiogram, said BSMMU cardiology department chairman Syed Ali Ahsan.
