Quader leaves Mount Elizabeth hospital

Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader has left Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Friday afternoon.
Quader was discharged from the hospital around 3:00pm local time, said Abu Nasar Rizvi, the neurologist of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University accompanying Quader in Singapore.
Quader was taken to a rented house in Singapore where he will undergo follow-up treatment for 2-3 weeks, Rizvi added.
The AL leader's family expressed their gratitude to the prime minister Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana and the people of Bangladesh for their support.
The minister was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of BSMMU on 3 March. Later he was diagnosed with three blocks in his coronary arteries and flown to Singapore for further treatment on 4 March.
