Three ‘Bangladeshis’ detained in India’s Agra

The Agra police of India detained three reported Bangladeshi nationals on Tuesday, reports India Today.

The alleged Bangladeshis have been introduced as Saeed-ul-Islam, his wife Munara Begum and his son Rabib-ul-Islam, it added.

The Indian media outlet also said they were sent to jail and will be prosecuted according to the law.

It added that the Agra police detained the ‘Bangladeshis’ living in the Sadar area of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

Quoting Agra inspector general of police (IGP) A Satish Ganesh, India Today said the police had received information that three illegal Bangladeshi nationals were living in the Rohta area of Sadar police station without any valid identity proofs.

It further said they were promptly detained when they could not produce any identity documents.
