Another 281 Bangladeshis return to Italy by chartered flight

A chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines has taken 281 Bangladeshi immigrants back to Italy. The flight left Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:10 Saturday afternoon, carrying the passengers, said Biman’s deputy general manager (public relations) Tahera Khandakar.

Three chartered flights of Biman have taken immigrant Bangladeshis to Rome this June. On 17 June, Biman carried 259 of these passengers and on 23 June, 269 passengers to Rome.

With this, a total of 809 Bangladeshis have returned to Italy by chartered flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

Bangladeshi immigrants in Italy had started returning to Bangladesh in February this year when the coronavius pandemic was spreading there extensively. Now that things have more or less returned to normal it Italy, these Bangladeshi immigrants are returning.
