PM Hasina inaugurates metro rail’s plaque

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday inaugurated the replica of the plaque of much awaited metro rail.

The prime minister inaugurated the plaque at a programme at Diabari in Dhaka’s Uttara at 11:00am.

Sheikh Hasina was accompanied by her younger sister Sheikh Rehana at the programme.

PM Hasina will inaugurate the metro rail system with much fanfare at a programme in Diabari. Following this she will address another programme.

Following the inauguration programme, the metro rail will run straight from Uttara to Agargaon without any stopping at any intermediate station along the route. Commuters will be able to take a trip on the train from Thursday.
