Prothom Alo editing asst Abul Kalam Azad dies of dengue

Prothom Alo editing assistant Abul Kalam Azad (Biplob) has passed away. He was 49.

He died of dengue at a city hospital on Tuesday afternoon (inna-lillahi-wa-inna-ilayhi-rajiun).

Family sources said Abul Kalam Azad was admitted to BRB Hospital in the capital on Tuesday morning. Later, he died in the afternoon.

He will be buried at the Jurain graveyard in the capital on Wednesday morning.

Abul Kalam Azad left behind father, wife, two children and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

One of his son studies in class X and another in class II.

Abul Kalam Azad had been working in Prothom Alo since 2010.

Prothom Alo family is deeply shocked at the sudden demise of Abul Kalam Azad.
