Three killed in Keraniganj road accident

Three people have been killed in a road accident at Dakshin Keraniganj on the Dhaka-Mawa highway.

The victims were taking cattle to Dhaka by a pickup van when a truck hit their vehicle at Dakshin Keraniganj around 10:30 pm on Sunday.

Two of them died on the spot while another was declared dead after being taken to the Mitford Hospital.

Nazmus Sakim, a sub-inspector of Dakshin Keraniganj police station, said all the victims are from Shariatpur. One has been identified as Hafiz.

No case was filed yet over the incident, he added.
