20-year-old found dead in Jhenaidah

A 20-year-old youth was found dead in Kotchandpur upazila of Jhenaidah district on Wednesday, reports UNB.

Moinuddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotchandpur police station confirmed the matter.

The deceased was identified as Riad Khan, 20, son of Solaiman Amin of Bagdanga village. Riad worked at a rice mill.

Police said the locals spotted the body in the afternoon and informed the police about this.

OC Moinuddin said, “There were several injury marks in the body. We suspect he was stabbed to death by miscreants on Tuesday night."

The body was sent to the local hospital morgue for an autopsy, he added.
