One held with Indian fake currency in Chapainawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man with Indian fake currency of Rs 395,000 from Barendra intersection in Chapainawabganj town last night, UNB reports.

The arrested person is Md Jasim, 28 of Shingnagar village under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.

RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Rajshahi Mollapara camp conducted a raid at the aforesaid area at around 7:30 pm and arrested Jasim with the Indian fake currency.

Later the arrested person was handed over to the Chapainawabganj Sadar police station with a case.
