Train, bus services with India suspended too
Following India’s decision to suspend all visas, barring a select few categories, the existing Bangladesh-India cross-border train and bus services will remain suspended from 15 March to 15 April.
Sharif Alam, public relations office of the railways ministry of Bangladesh confirmed the new development on Friday, reports UNB.
India on Wednesday announced the suspension of all existing visas, except diplomatic, official, UN/international organisations, employment and project ones, until 15 April.
Earlier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and three private airlines announced to halt all of their flights to India from 14 March to 15 April due to visa suspension.
