10 more deaths from dengue, 2748 hospitalised in 24 hrs

Some ten people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Saturday. With the latest ones, the death toll rose to 716 this year.

Besides, a total of 2,748 dengue patients – 1,051 in Dhaka and 1,697 in districts – have been admitted to different hospitals during the period, says the health directorate.

Of the deaths, five have been reported from the capital, while the remaining five are from districts, it added.
