Diplomats pay tribute to Holey Artisan attack victims
Diplomats on Thursday paid tributes to the lives lost in the militant attack at Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka's Gulshan five years ago, reports UNB.
They also affirmed that hate will never win.
Foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen, Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami, ambassadors of the US, Italy and Japan and other senior diplomats also joined.
On 1 July, 2016, five armed militants stormed Holey Artisan in Gulshan diplomatic zone and took diners hostage. They had killed 22 people, mostly foreigners, by the end of the night.
