Indian ambassador calls on IGP Benazir

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das on Tuesday made a courtesy call on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed at his office at Bangladesh Police headquarters in the capital, reports BSS.

During the meeting, the IGP and the Indian envoy exchanged views about different mutual benefits of the two countries, said an official press release.

Twitter Handle India in Bangladesh, the official Twitter page of Indian Embassy in Bangladesh, said they discussed possible areas of cooperation between India and Bangladesh such as capacity building.

Senior police and embassy officials were present on the occasion.
