Budget 2023-24: Tk 420.95b proposed for defence ministry

The government has allocated Tk 420.95 billion for the Ministry of Defence in the proposed budget for the fiscal (FY) 2023-24, reports news agency BSS.

The proposed allocation is Tk 54.45 billion higher than the revised budget of Tk 366.50 billion of the ongoing FY 2022-23.

The government proposed allocation of Tk 450 million for the Armed Forces Division for the FY 2023-24 which was Tk 370 million in the revised budget of FY 2022-23.
