50 injured in AL-BNP clash in Bhola

At least 50 people were injured in a clash between BNP and Awami League activists in Bhola's Lalmohan upazila on Saturday morning, reports UNB. 

The injured were admitted to Lalmohan Hospital, said witnesses adding that two motorcycles were vandalised and another one was set on fire. 
The clash ensued when BNP nominated candidate, its vice-chairman Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, went to his area for electioneering on Saturday morning.
Later in the noon, several journalists including channel-i Bhola correspondent Harun-ur-Rashid, were injured when a group of people swooped on them during a live telecast from in front of the BNP leader's residence, the witnesses said.
Meanwhile, tense situation was prevailing in the area but police claimed the situation was normal and additional policemen were deployed to avoid any further unwanted situation. 
Awami League nominated candidate for Bhola-3 constituency Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon alleged that BNP men attacked his supporters.
No case was lodged in this connection, said Mir Khairul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Lalmohan police station.
