The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has started investigating allegations of misappropriating Tk 1.51 billion by Jashore, Kushtia and Magura general hospitals in 2011-12 fiscal, reports UNB.

On Tuesday noon, an ACC team from Dhaka led by deputy commissioner Ali Akbar reached at Jashore General Hospital.

They investigated medicines, machineries and equipment including operation theatres of the hospital, said the commissioner.

Sources at the hospital administration, however, said the hospital was approved Tk 105.2 million in 2011-12 fiscal years.
