8 people killed as bus overturns in Joypurhat

At least eight people, including three children, were killed in a road accident at Baniapara in sadar upazila of Joypurhat on Friday, reports UNB.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.|

Joypurhat fire service and civil defence officer Sirajul Islam said a bus overturned on the road as its driver lost control over the steering around 1:00pm, leaving eight people dead on the spot.

A team of fire service is working to recover the bodies and rescue the injured people.
