Liberation war minister Mozammel Haque on Saturday said that the primary list of Razakars will be prepared by next March, reports UNB.

Talking to the journalists at Akhaura International Immigration Check-post in Brahmanbaria while returning from Agartala of Tripura in India, the minister came up with the remarks in the morning.

"List of Razakars will be formed very shortly, the primary list will be prepared within March next year," he said.

Anti-Bangladesh paramilitary forces like Al Badr comprised of anti-Bangladesh and pro-Pakistan Bengali people and organised by the Pakistan Army committed numerous atrocities including crimes against humanity during the War in 1971.

Lauding the contribution of Tripura people in the Liberation War of Bangladesh, he said "The discussion over preserving the memories of the Liberation War has been completed with India. Both the countries are working to implement it."

The future generation will get knowledge about the Liberation War if its memories are well preserved, he added.

India would also provide their highest support to repatriate Rohingya people to Myanmar, the minister assured.

Akhaura upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Tahmina Aktar, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Abdul Karim and other top officials of the administration were also present there.
