3 ‘members of neo-JMB’ detained

The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested three suspected members of banned militant group ‘neo-JMB’ from Gabtoli area on Wednesday night.

The arrestees were identified as Mohamamd Abdullah, 24, Shafiqul Islam alias Mollaji, 38, and Mostafa Hossain Arif, 25, reports UNB.

Tipped-off, a team of CTTC unit conducted a drive in the area and arrested them from the Gabtoli Bus Terminal area around 8:30pm, said deputy commissioner of DMP (media) Masudur Rahman.
