A reported Bangladeshi national has been detained at Jaipur International Airport for allegedly travelling on a fake Indian passport, reports The Times of India.

The India media also claimed that the immigration department on Wednesday detained Imran Shaikh, 27, who was reportedly trying to board an Air Arabia flight from Jaipur to Sharjah.

“We are interrogating him to find how did he acquire the fake passport and if had previously also used the same route to go to Sharjah”, an official of Sanganer police station was quoted to have said.
