Prothom Alo senior journalist tests COVID-19 positive

A senior journalist of Prothom Alo has contracted COVID-19. He was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka on Monday.

He was in isolation for the last several days at his home.

With the development of coronavirus outbreak, almost 100 per cent employees of the organisation will work from home from Monday.

Earlier, a large section of the employees was working from home while a few were attending office where health guidelines were being followed strictly.

The main office will be closed, but the newspaper will be published while the online edition will continue to provide news and updates, according to the authorities.
