Biman gets new MD

Additional secretary Md Zahid Hossain has been appointed as the managing director (MD) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, reads a gazette notification issued on Wednesday from the public administration ministry.

The gazette says the recruitment has been made following the transfer of outgoing MD of Biman Abu Saleh Mustafa Kamal to social welfare directorate as director general.

Besides, Rangpur divisional commissioner (additional secretary) Md Abdul Wahab Bhuiyan has been made the director general of department of narcotics control security services division while additional secretary Md Sabibul Islam made divisional commissioner of Rangpur.
