Three Biman officials suspended over plane collision incident

Three Biman Bangladesh Airlines officials have been temporarily removed from their duties over the incident of a collision between two planes at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), the airlines' media wing said on Friday.

The collision happened on the night of 3 July.

The suspended officials are- principal engineer Md Harunur Rashid Chowdhury, engineering officer Shah Newaz and junior technical officer Nurul Alam.

Tahera Khondker, Biman's general manager (Public Relations), said that the three officials were suspended on 5 July.
