Fowzia Rashid, wife of former secretary to the Government of Bangladesh Dr Mohammad Abdur Rashid, passed away in Dhaka at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, 18 October 2023.
She was 74.
Fowzia leaves behind her husband, daughter Ripa, son-in-law Robert, son Arman, daughter-in-law Stephanie, and grandchildren Alexander and Adrian.
The deceased was buried at her ancestral home in Tangail. Her qulkhani will be held after Asr prayers on Saturday, 21 October, in Dhaka.
