Banking hours 10am-3:30pm from 15 Nov

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has re-fixed transaction hours for all banks from 10:00am to 3:30pm and office hours from 10:00am to 5:00pm, effective from 15 November.

A circular was issued to this end on Thursday.

Earlier, the cabinet at a meeting on Monday decided to reschedule office hours for government, semi-government and autonomous and semi-autonomous offices from 9:00am to 4:00pm, effective from 15 November.

Currently, office hours are 8:00am to 3:30pm.
