Operation of domestic flights would continue during the strict lockdown set to resume on Friday but only to facilitate the movement of the passengers of international flight in the country, reports UNB.

According to a circular of Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB), domestic flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines and NovoAir may only carry the passengers who are scheduled to catch an international flight, said a press release Thursday.

The flights could continue maintaining health protocols strictly as per instructions.

The instructions would come into effect from 6:00am Friday at all domestic airports, the release also said.
