Labaid inaugurates second LINAC radiotherapy machine

Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre inaugurated a second radiotherapy machine on Wednesday.

AM Shamim, chairman of Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre, inaugurated the radiotherapy machine (linear accelerator or LINAC) with a view to ensuring world-class cancer treatment in the hospital, said a press release on Thursday.

Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre’s managing director Sakif Shamim presided over the inaugural event.

Labaid group’s directors Shucharita Ahmed, Parisha Shamim, senior consultants Parvin Akhter Banu, Md Ehteshamul Hoque, Qazi Mushtaq Hussain, were also present at the event as special guests.
