Four films for Eid

Thursday will see simultaneous release of four films to celebrate the Eid. These are Rana Pagla by Shamim Ahmed, Samrat by Mohammad Mutafa Kamal, Shikari, a joint production by Jaideb and Abdul Aziz, and Badshah by Baba Yadav and Zakir Hossain.

Rana Pagla
According to the director, the film is partly a love story and partly an exploration of some growing social issues in the country and how that affects the lives of people.

The film will be released in more than 150 theaters across the country.
The movie will star Shakib Khan, Tisha, Achol, Porshi, Moushumi Hamid, Misha Saodagor, Subrata and Debashish Biswas.
Prosen, Robiul Islam and Shomeshor Oli composed the songs for the film.

Samrat
This action-thriller-romance will be released in around 80 different theaters, according to the director.

This film also stars Shakib Khan besides Indronil, Opu Biswas and Misha Saodagor.
Jonny Haque, Ovi, Robiul Islam and Riddhi composed the songs for the film.
Shikari

A joint production from Jazz and SK movies, the film is a story about a killing mission.
According to the director Zakir Hossain, the film will be released in more than a hundred theaters.

Shakib Khan, Srabanti Chatterjee, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Rahul Dev and Amit Hasan will be seen in the movie while the music was done by Indradeep Dasgupta. The songs are written by Prosen while a Rabindranath Tagore song will be featured as well.

Badshah
Another join production which is to be released in more than 60 theaters. The film is to be a romantic comedy, according to the director.

The songs of the film are composed by Priyo Chotopadhay and Suddho Dipanjon.
