Noble, whose performances in music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa won him a huge fan following both in India and Bangladesh, has failed to recreate the same magic for his own number, ‘Tamasha’.

‘Tamasha’, released on the singer’s YouTube channel Nobleman, has been receiving more negative reviews than the positive ones. As of 12:00pm Monday, the music video received 26,000 likes and 207,000 dislikes.

Noble, however, campaigned for the song on his verified Facebook page and deleted some of his posts which roiled the netizens. He apologised for his campaign activities.

“Perhaps, I’ve done a bit too much. People have become angry with me. I am apologising for that,” Noble said in a video message before releasing ‘Tamasha’.

Recently, he told Prothom Alo that he does not have high hopes for his own number but will soon bring out the Hindi and English versions of the track.

‘Tamasha’ has been written and composed by Jihan. The music is by the Nobleman team. Imon Chowdhury has done the mix mastering and the video has been made by Najmul Hasan.

Noble’s wife Salsabil Mahmud appeared in his music video of ‘Tamasha’ as his co-artiste.

Mainul Hasan Noble came to the limelight through popular Indian music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee Bangla.

A case was recently filed in the Indian state of Tripura against Noble for his derogatory remarks against the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi.

The Gopalganj boy Noble grew up in various places and studied both in Bangladesh and India. It was in Kolkata that he developed his passion for music. After completing his secondary schooling in Kolkata, Noble returned to Dhaka in 2014.

His performances in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa won him a huge fan following both in India and Bangladesh. He quickly scaled the heights to fame in the reality show, singing popular songs like ‘Baba’. His rendition of Prince Mahmud’s ‘Ma’ also won him acclaim.
