Ayub-Bachchu (1962-2018)

  • 16 August 1962, singer and songwriter Ayub Bachchu born in Chittagong.

  • 18 October 2018, the rock star breathes his last at a hospital in Dhaka.

  • 1977, Ayub Bachchu begins his of music career. His first song is ‘Harano Bikel.’

  • 1978, he launches local music band, 'Feelings'.

  • 1980, he joins popular music band Souls.

  • 1986, his first solo album named ‘Raktagolap’ was released with the Souls.

  • 1992, Bachchu, also known as AB, formed LRB. Initially LRB was the acronym for Little River Band, but after it was discovered that there was an Australian group of the same name, it then changed to the acronym for Love Runs Blind. LRB debuted in 1992.

  • Ayub Bachchu has two sons.
