Pori Moni alleges attempted rape, murder

Dhallywood actress Pori Moni alleged that someone attempted to rape and kill her recently.

Pori Moni made the allegation through a post at 7:53pm from her verified Facebook account and sought justice to prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

“I was physically tortured. Attempt was made to rape and kill me. I want justice. Where will I seek justice?” she wrote.

Addressing the PM Hasina as ‘mother’ in the post, Pori Moni said she did not get any recourse from anybody in the lawenforcers or others in last four days.

Saying that she had lost her mother in childhood, Pori Moni wrote, “I was only two and a half year old when I lost my mother. I never felt her absence in all those years. But, it seems I need my mother today.”

Pori Moni broke down in tears while she was called about her allegations.

“I want to share it with everyone. I’ve already informed the Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti about the incident. They assured me of help. I’ve been waiting for four days, but no one has extended a helping hand to me.”

Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti’s general secretary Zayed Khan said, “Pori Moni contacted me. She want justice for an untoward incident.”
