Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society launches website

Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society, a platform for environmental graduates in the country, has launched its website.

Launching the website on Friday, the treasurer of Mawlana Bhasani Science and Technology University and the society’s honorary member Md Sirajul Islam said the organisation would establish a training institute for the graduates on environment-related subjects, says a press release.

He hoped that the Bangladesh government would create a separate cadre for environmentalists in the cadre service.

Bangladesh Poribeshbid Society’s executive director Md Arifur Rahman, environmentalists Abu Jubayer, Anwar Jahid, Sheikh Abu Jahid, M Abdul Kader Talukder and Mahmud Hasan Tuhin, among others, were present at the website launching programme followed by iftar mahfil.
