The cyclone created over the Bay of Bengal also hit the West Bengal in Kolkata of India.

The cyclone Remal started to cross Khepupara in Patuakhali and the West Bengal coast at around 8:00pm Bangladesh time.

The sea remains turbulent due to the influence of the cyclone. Heavy rainfall is occurring in many places including Kolkara.
