The Alpaca show in Britain
Alpaca (Vicugna pacos) is a South American camelid, domesticated mammal. They are prised for their soft fleece and gentle nature. They can be found both as pet and kettle.
The British Alpaca Society National Show held at The International Centre in Telford, central England, on Saturday, reports AFP.
The two-day show brings together alpacas from across the country vying to be awarded the title of 'Supreme Champion' in either the Huacaya or Suri fleece categories, says AFP.
Alpaca has two breeds: the Suri alpaca and the Huacaya alpaca.
